About the Wine:
• 100 Tempranillo
• Warm strawberries, plums, vanilla, full bodied , earthy and silky with slightly dusty tannin.
• Destemmed (85%) and the rest whole cluster in open top fermenters with 15-day post fermentation maceration
(to ensure longevity)
• Aged in used oak barrels: 90% French and 10% American for 16 months, bottled and kept for another 8 before
release.

About the Winery:
• From a single vineyard in the Rioja Alta region at 2000 ft above sea level, with vines that are between 20-60
years old.
• Alberto Orte is the winemaker
• Only 3000 cases made
