ABOUT THE WINE:


• GRAPES: 80-85% Grenache, followed by a field blend of the other 12 permitted varietals.
Fresh with powdery tannin and red raspberries , cherries and plums with garrigue (provencal herbs) and wet rocks.  Accessible with just a little decanting, and makes a great gift.
• Aged in old Foudre 16-18 months. No fining, but l ight filtration.
Pairs with: spring lamb, lamb sliders, grilled or roasted chicken, Pork tenderloin, Indian curries and samosas

ABOUT THE WINERY:
• Originally part of the Mathieu family vineyards; brothers divided land to share with their children Domaine du Saje was founded in 2015
• Farmed with little intervention in the vineyard or winery
• Traditional style Chateauneuf du Pape, from high elevation vineyards and not overextracted
