Greece has a rich history of wine being made as far back as the 7th C BC. They are responsible for bringing the vine to all parts of the Mediterranean, which laid the foundation for the fabulous wines that we still enjoy today! But Greece also has a treasure trove of grapes that are indigenous to their mainland and islands. Although you might not be able to pronounce their names, the wines are delicious and showcase the best of small farmers from these parts.
Come and enjoy some grape varieties you may have never heard of like (Assyrtiko, or Aggiorgitiko. And see what amazing dishes that Sylvia will pair with them!
